Job Description

Manage inspection and supplier quality for purchased mechanical and electromechanical components used in hydro projects. Responsibilities Create inspection and quality assurance plans and verify incoming parts against drawings, specifications and applicable standards. Audit suppliers and internal processes, investigate defects with RCA/CAPA/8D, and verify corrective actions and audit closure. Maintain traceable inspection records and calibrated measuring equipment, support ISO 9001/QMS improvement and coordinate with engineering, procurement and production. Requirements 8–12 years and Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering; knowledge of mechanical inspection, engineering drawings and supplier quality. Experience inspecting components such as gearboxes, valves, turbines, pumps, castings and fabricated items; communication, audit and problem-solving skills. Travel to supplier and project locations when required.
