Job Description

Lead process mechanical engineering for biotechnology, life sciences and related facility projects. Responsibilities Prepare basic and detailed engineering, equipment datasheets and package specifications for biotech, API, OSD and fill-finish facilities. Review PFDs, P&IDs and vendor designs; perform heat and mass balances, utility sizing, heat-exchanger rating and hydraulic calculations. Coordinate disciplines and project interfaces, review design and construction safety, and lead HAZOP and PHA activities. Requirements At least 12 years of relevant experience and knowledge of USP/DSP equipment and facility packages. Experience with fermentation, bioreactors, TFF, chromatography, centrifuges, sterilizers and filling lines, plus relevant drying, filtration and processing equipment.
